What do dodgem cars, Halloween and pink elephants have in common? - Kim and Phil's wedding.
When Kim contacted me I was already booked on her date. But twist of fate, things changed and i was able to shoot her wedding... it was SO MUCH FUN.
"What an incredible photographer. He caught those beautiful moments on camera that no one could have captured in the way he did. From the beginning he made us feel comfortable. There was no awkwardness, and definitely no fake pose moments which was EXACTLY what we wanted. I want to do our wedding day all over again to see what other beautiful memories he can get in that magical contraption of his! " - Kim & Phil
Jo and John were after a "vintage wedding in the city" and asked me to spend a couple of hours with them taking photos in Paddington, Sydney before they went to the registry for "I do's" and disco bowling with friends. Despite the rain pouring down on us we managed to get some great shots and without Jo and John being adventurous and willing to try anything I don't think it would have been as successful.

There is nothing more intimate then getting married in the back yard of your new home with your nearest and dearest around. I feel very fortunate to have been asked to capture Charlotte & Sam's big day.
"We were truly lucky to have you as our photographer! For two people who hate having their photo taken we were so comfortable the whole time which was unexpected!! Thank you so much for everything". - Charlotte and Sam
A unique blend of Irish, Argentinian and Australian backgrounds and a bunch of personal touches created a festival vibe to the weekend wedding of Cyn & Dave at Melross Farm in the Kangaroo Valley.
They also chose to include Hand-fastening (or to "tie the knot") into the ceremony. It was a Celtic tradition (David's background) that was also adopted by American-Indian tribes (Cynthia's grandmothers heritage). The piece of material that was used for the hand-fastening was knitted by David's mother with wool from his grandmother. The old chemist bottles they collected and used for the flowers was a homage to Dave's dad who was a chemist.
"Mr Wigley you're a very talented man. Thank you so much for our beautiful gift of memories, we'll cherish them forever!!!" - Cyn & Dave
Ben and Chris were together for more than 10 years before getting married. Passionate about all things Star Wars and Lego we had heaps of fun working them into their photos. May the force be with them always!
"We promise to stick to the manual where ever possible, but also embrace the joy of building our lives together even when there are no set instructions". from Ben & Chris's vows
"We're hugely impressed with the images. You’ve managed to capture some great moments that we’ll cherish for a long time. We had a good feeling about you and it was proven correct throughout the whole weekend. You’re a fun, easy-going bloke who made it easy for us on the day. Thank you, thank you. " - Joe & Jen
Good food, great wine, fab friends and of course some romance where all key ingredients to make up Sarah and Tim's wedding at Cupitts Winery, Brewery and Kitchen in Ulladulla. Being foodies and a passion for fitness what better way do bring this into the photos then play a little game of kiss & catch in the vineyards, but what happens on the vineyards stays in the vineyards.
Sydney restaurant owner's Dee & Ali headed to the Hunter Valley to get hitched. A super fun romantic garden party complete with jaw dropping sunset sky's. They decided to bring the party with them with a few glasses, ok in truth a few bottles of bubbles while we shot some fun pics around the amazing property.
Mel and Andrew are big movie buffs - so what better way to celebrate then have a popcorn fight at your wedding!!! Blending a touch of old hollywood glam a ship scrap yard and a traditional Chinese tea ceremony made this wedding unique and loads of fun.
